WHAT IS THE IPHL?
The IPHL is an independent Professional Hockey League that provides Amateur Hockey Players a platform to compete in Televised Indie Pro Sports competitions. The IPHL opens an alternative outlet for Hockey players, fans, and coaches. The IPHL is an Independent Professional Division of the Association of Independent Sports, whereby players are compensated for their participation and performances.
The IPHL consists of 32 Franchise Team Slots within 16 AIS selected States, which are divided into Two Territories, which are then divided into two Zones with each state represented by IPHL Zone A and IPHL Zone B.
Each IPHL Zone consists of 128 Franchise Teams. These Teams compete in Single Round Elimination Games, during the Countdown, in an effort to win their Zone’s Official IPHL Franchise Team Slot, for the current IPHL Season.
